Yarrow linden blossom syrup

Since our neighbor has a linden tree, where we are allowed to serve ourselves freely, I tried a recipe from my grandmother last summer, what is recipe? It was really only a reminder of a wonderful holiday with the grandmother in Upper Carinthia.

So, let's go:

A 5-liter bucket loose with lime blossom and yarrow, so fill in half of each I blow everything very briefly. Pour into a 10 L bucket, add 10 pounds of sugar, water, 7 lemons, 5 oranges untreated, of course, and sliced, then stir until the sugar dissolves, take a little, then cover with a gauze and elastic band and cool put.

I leave the tub standing for three days, stirring two or three times a day. Then it is straightened with a hair strainer and firmly squeezed. I cook the whole thing very carefully with constant stirring, but only let it rise once.

Immediately pour into the washed, boiled and still hot bottles and close immediately. With mineral water really poured a treat. This syrup has a very sweet taste almost like lemonade. Also comes in handy for children who are too intensively the elderberry syrup. Wish good luck.
