Macadamia nuts taste caramelized super. How to do it yourself? Recipe follows:

- Unfortunately, there are only salted macadamia nuts in the supermarket. I have salted the salted nuts in lukewarm water, dried with a towel.
- Then a pot filled with half a cup of water and about 2-3 tablespoons normal sugar dissolved in the water.
- Then bring the whole thing to a boil and fill in the nuts. Keep stirring with a wooden spoon until all the nuts are wet with the sugar water.
- Now stir until the last water has evaporated. Then pour the nuts on a baking tray or similar and wait until they are cold.
