Bake half a tin of cookies - with a viscous mass

The cookie baking season has begun and today I faced the following problem: I only wanted to make half the amount of a certain type of cookie. Unfortunately, with this recipe comes on a dough sheet a dickfluß mass with nuts, etc., which would of course on the dough plate (which just does not fill the whole baking sheet) would run out. Not good.

The solution: since I had already designed the dough plate in the middle of the baking tray, I just put the ring of my biggest cake pan around. With the overhanging dough I filled up the missing pieces inside, for safety's sake I pushed something to the edge, that really nothing can leak. Then the mass on top - baked - and I had wonderful gingerbread cubes (after cooling and cutting), although a few of them with "round corners" :) Next time I'll take the whole cake mold.
